Andrew Tarpill

Associate Principal

“I love seeing projects I design– whether new construction or renovations to an existing building– go from a concept to reality.”

Andrew Tarpill’s early interest in architecture was inspired by the built environment. Growing up surrounded by the construction trades, he was already involved as a teen in helping to build and renovate structures.

Andrew joined QA+M in August 2002 as QA+M’s first employee. His dedication and contributions led to him becoming the firm’s first Associate. Andrew is highly adept at all aspects of coordination, design, documentation, and contract administration, and believes that good design simplifies and enhances people’s interactions with the built environment.

His expansive knowledge of construction systems and techniques also contributes to his thoughtful designs. Andrew’s portfolio includes public housing, municipal, education, recreation, and corporate projects. His recent focus has been on the revitalization of various housing authorities throughout Connecticut.
