QA+M Architecture is helping out Hartford Area’s Habitat for Humanity today with some hands-on labor at 66 Bliss Street in East Hartford. Principals and staff are installing flooring, staining the porches and picket fence, and painting trim and ceilings to help build a single-family home for a family in need.
“Thanks to the efforts and dedication of the volunteers at Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity, QA+M Architecture has an opportunity to give back to the community,” said Rusty Malik, Principal. “The team is able to work on a building site in a different role than we’re used to, but one that we are all enjoying.”
Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
