Winding Trails
QA+M Architecture designed this stunning new boat storage facility on Dunning Lake for Winding Trails, a unique nonprofit organization serving Farmington and surrounding communities with year-round recreational and educational activities. Dedicated to environmental conservation, Winding Trails is established on a 380-acres of pristine woods, clear waterways, and exceptional facilities designed to encourage community, appreciation of nature, and the development of life-long memories and skills. The 3,000-SF boat storage facility incorporates a flat roof with usable deck, mostly covered by open pavilion-style roofs. The addition to Winding Trails includes an open-air amphitheater carved into the adjacent hillside.
