Approximately 4,700-SF, QA+M Architecture is currently designing the UCONN Women’s Crew Boathouse. It includes about 3,800-SF of storage space for up to 12 rowing boats, 4 boat launches, oars, life jackets and other supplies/equipment, along with winter storage for their dock. The remaining space is dedicated to a locker room for 50 athletes and 4 coaches including locker storage/changing space, bathroom and shower space, and an additional separate fully accessible bathroom with a shower. It is located on the northwestern side of the park and will be in the same location where their current boat house sits. It is estimated to be completed in 2024.
