Newport Healthcare – Villa Bianca Campus
QA+M Architecture transformed a former 40,000 SF wedding venue into a comprehensive residential treatment campus for adolescents facing mental health and substance use challenges. The revitalized Villa Bianca facility includes the renovation of the main Riverview building, chapel, guest house, and pavilion to support inpatient care in a therapeutic, home-like setting.

Residents are grouped into age-, gender-, and diagnosis-specific “pods,” each featuring a mix of single, double, and triple bedrooms along with shared amenities such as living commons, therapy offices, and medication rooms. The campus also offers academic spaces, a dining facility, fitness and art rooms, and areas for group and individual therapy—creating a holistic environment for healing and recovery.
