Mather Community Center

As a part of a town-wide facility “shuffle,” the Board of Education vacated Darien’s Town Hall Annex, which was gut-renovated to accommodate the new community center, an integral piece of the town’s project.

This new 35,000-SF community center boasts state-of-the-art facilities for recreation, youth services, social services, the senior center, and the Darien Arts Commission. Large windows provide ample sunlight, and specialty spaces include a library, wood shop, and fitness/dance studio.

The new complex also features access and upgrades to the adjacent on-site athletic and recreation fields.
