John Winthrop Middle School
The Security Upgrades at John Winthrop Middle School project consists of a 120 square foot security vestibule addition and sitework modifications. The new vestibule is connected directly to the main office and revises existing visitor entry by requiring all visitors to check in via secure transaction window within the new vestibule before entrance into the office. A large exterior stair provides pedestrian access to the new vestibule from the sidewalk level, and a new exterior elevator accommodates accessible circulation to the new vestibule. This project also incorporates modifications to a portion of the existing parking area to address present day accessible parking requirements.
