Indian Valley YMCA
Designed to meet “Good Design Practice” and to utilize “green” architecture, the project boasts a geothermal heating system, solar-reflective roof membrane, thermally improved window frames with insulated glazing, windows/skylights to bring daylight into the majority of rooms, operable windows for improved indoor air quality, and low VOC adhesives, sealants, and paints. Construction debris was recycled whenever possible, materials with recycled content were specified, and local stone veneer used.
