Henry Carter Hull Library
The Conceptual Design was created for the Henry Carter Hull Library to explore the expansion of the main entrance. The current layout is tight with poor circulation to and from the reception desk. It often leaves visitors lost finding the main library located on the second level.

Concepts include lobby, a new covered entrance, the addition of two meeting rooms, with finish & furniture upgrades throughout these zones.

More Information

A new canopy will provide a covered entry leading to the new renovated lobby and book drop area. The lobby will be expanded to provide better wayfinding and circulation throughout the main entrance. It features a new reception desk, signage, and curved mobile stacks. The wall blocking the stair was removed, now showcasing the path to the main library and new stair railing & finish upgrades. This will help guide the visitors to the second level.

The meeting room upgrades include a reconfigurations plue the addition of two rooms, new glass entrances, acoustical privacy, and new furniture. Each room will have new technology including new monitors and powered conference tables. The multipurpose room upgrades include new finish upgrades plus flexible mobile furniture.

The second floor concepts highlight new lounge furniture for the existing space.
