Ella T. Grasso Technical High School
This new high school is the culmination of nearly 20 years of planning, design, and construction. It serves up to 800 students (with additional adult education programs) enrolled in selected trades. A total of 12 technologies are available. Sited downhill from the existing school so that students could remain on campus during construction, the new three-level building takes full advantage of the steep terrain. Where spaces are land-locked, clerestories and skylights offer daylight to provide a welcoming feel.
