Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, MRI
Design services for a renovation to a portion of the existing radiology department to provide for a new 3T MRI and associated Prep and Recovery Suite. The project included extensive coordination for rigging and delivery of the magnet through the exterior of the building and movement along an existing elevated slab to its final location. Phase 1 of this multi-phase project was completed in November 2019. Phase 2 is currently on hold.
