CIFC Greater Danbury Community Health Center
The Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc.’s (CIFC) new Community Health Center of Greater Danbury has allowed the organization to expand its pediatric and women’s health services and bring dozens of new jobs to Danbury. The new 37,000-SF, four-story community health center gives residents centralized access to healthcare in a contemporary environment, doubles the space of the previous clinic, and exponentially increases the services offered. The health center employs approximately 40 providers, who are expected to treat 40,000 patients this year with an array of services including primary care, dentistry, and behavioral health. Financing for the building involved a mix of public and private funding.
