Bristol City Hall
ADA HC accessibility was the driving factor behind this intricate renovation project. The program includes the expansion of the entrance lobby, the creation of an access ramp to traverse a significant elevation difference, and controlled door openers to provide safe access to City Hall.

The project requires a complete code analysis of the existing building for compliance with egress and life safety matters.

A unique aspect of the construction includes the coordination of full-time, partial access to this entrance for egress and part-time full access to the entrance during the “high traffic” July tax payment season.

The project also includes a ramp addition and renovations to the senior/community center entrance for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
