Bridgeport Senior Center
QA+M Architecture completed the design, renovation, and conversion of a 1925 Beaux-Arts style, single-bay fire house to a senior center. QA+M worked with the Connecticut State Historic Preservation Office to revitalize the existing building and surrounding site with hopes of transforming a once vacant structure into a landmark for the Bridgeport community. The senior center includes multi-purpose rooms, a commercial kitchen, and business offices. A small addition to the building was created to house an elevator tower and entry vestibule.
