The Beacon Hill Medical Center has become home to the Southington location for Comprehensive Orthopedics. The new 24,000 square foot building faced design challenges due to the steeply sloped site. However, the final design embraces the site and provides ground level access to both floors of the 2-story structure, providing enhanced patient access. In addition to core and shell design, QA+M also designed a 14,000 square foot interior fit-out for the building’s physician owners. This layout includes multiple orthopedic treatment and exam rooms, various support spaces, x-ray rooms, and a complete MRI facility.
