Batterson Park, located in both Farmington and New Britain, is owned and operated by the City of Hartford. Recently the city received a grant to reimagine the park and to revive it as an amenity destination. Working closely with BSC Group and the Hartford Parks & Recreation Department, QA+M Architecture provided conceptual design images for numerous park structures, including a bathhouse, maintenance garage, and multiple event pavilions. The master plan also envisions multiple natural features such as walking trails, fishing piers, and a swimming beach.
