QA+M Architecture is proud to spotlight our recent work on Puerto Vallarta in Stamford, Connecticut, a vibrant transformation that reimagines a former western-themed bar and grille into an authentic Mexican dining experience. As the eighth Puerto Vallarta location in the state, this project reflects the brand’s continued growth and commitment to immersive hospitality environments.

The redesigned interior seats approximately 200 guests, including 30 around a newly enlarged bar, the largest of any Puerto Vallarta restaurant. QA+M provided both design and construction administration services for a complete interior and exterior facelift, creating a space that blends cultural authenticity with modern functionality.

Custom architectural millwork plays a central role in the design, with standout features like the handcrafted bar and tequila wall. The interior is enriched by hand-painted murals, decorative lighting, curated artwork, and accent pieces that reflect the warmth and vibrancy of Mexican culture. An outdoor patio adds versatility, offering guests a relaxed, open-air dining option.

This project was honored with the 2024 CREW CT Award for Excellence – Artistic Design, recognizing QA+M’s ability to merge artistry with architectural precision. The award celebrates our dedication to creating spaces that are not only visually compelling but also thoughtfully designed to enhance the guest experience.
