Since 2002, QA+M Architecture has been providing complete architectural services to public and private clients throughout Connecticut. With a staff of 33, the firm’s range of services include architectural design, planning and interior design, feasibility studies, and construction services for clients in the education, arts, and culture, commercial, healthcare, housing, historical preservation, and recreation markets. The firm’s promotions reflect the contributions of team members who have been exceptionally dedicated to QA+M’s clients, staff, and workplace culture. They are leaders dedicated to design, operations, and the financial health of the organization.
Andrew Tarpill, AIA, a visionary leader of the firm, was promoted to Associate Principal. With 20+ years of design expertise, Andrew is known for fostering deep client relationships. The projects he undertakes vary in size and scope, including housing, roofing, and corporate settings. “Andrew has been a dedicated QA+M employee for over 20 years. His combination of strong technical skills, production efficiency, and sense of humor make him an integral and valuable part of our company,” said principal David Quisenberry. Andrew’s recent and current projects include the new construction of Village at Park River in Hartford, administrated the construction of The Riverfront housing complex in Torrington and public-school roofs in Coventry.
Rocco Petitto, AIA,a key member of the QA+M team, has been promoted to Associate. Celebrating over 10 years at the firm, Rocco has been responsible for the successful completion of numerous projects throughout the state. Rocco’s strengths are his cool demeanor and ability to befriend everyone he works with, but his real strength is being one of our team’s strongest designers. “Rocco’s influence on the direction of our projects and the indirect impact that has had on our clients and patrons has been immeasurable,” said principal Tom Arcari. “Accordingly, we are lucky to have Rocco as a part of the QA+M family and as a key member of our leadership team.” Rocco’s recent and current projects include the new addition and renovations of the Rocky Hill Senior & Community Center, as well as improvements to housing projects such as Jack’s Farm with the Cheshire Housing Authority.
Brian Park, AIA,another talented architect, at QA+M, was promoted to Associate. Brian’s technical expertise has contributed to the successful design, development, and construction of several of our firms’ recent landmark projects. “His commitment to our team’s mission is almost as strong as his commitment to our client’s needs. It has been a real pleasure to have him as a part of our family, and now, as a part of our leadership team,” commented principal Tom Arcari.
Brian’s recent and current projects include renovations to the Willimantic Community Center, the Branford Community House, and improvements to many affordable housing projects, such as Surfside Towers in West Haven and Kensington Square in New Haven.
Carson Collier, AIA, a dynamic part of our team, was named Associate. Carson joined the firm in 2015 and now specializes in educational design and facilities studies. His exceptional work ethic sets a high bar amongst his peers. “His diligence, attention to detail and work in the K-12 market sector is a testament to the success of QA+M’s educational team,” said principal Rusty Malik, “I am extremely proud to have Carson join our leadership team as an Associate.” Carson’s recent work includes the North Stonington Middle High School, and North Stonington Elementary School in North Stonington; and is currently working on the new construction of the North Branford High School in North Branford.
