We had an incredible time at the AIA Connecticut Masked Marvels Bowling Night. The QA+M Heroes suited up, answered the call, and came out to save the day. The Villains of QA+M may have caused some havoc along the way. At the end of the night, our caped crusaders came home with not one, not two, but three awards to add to our collection: Highest Scoring Team, Highest Scoring Woman, and Most Creative Attire.

This year’s Masked Marvels theme brought out the creativity in everyone. Seeing colleagues from firms across Connecticut lean into their superhero and villain personas made for a larger than life atmosphere. It is one of the things that makes AIA CT Bowling such a standout event. It manages to be both a celebration of professional community and a genuinely good time.

Beyond the awards, what these wins reflect is the team culture inside our studio. The trust and communication that make us effective collaborators on complex architectural projects do not disappear when we leave the office. They show up on the lanes, too.

Events like the AIA Connecticut Masked Marvels Bowling Night serve an important purpose for the broader professional community. They create space for architects, designers, and industry partners to connect outside of work and remind one another that there is a strong community behind this profession. AIA Connecticut does a wonderful job of fostering that, and we are grateful to be a part of it year after year.

Whether we are at the office or the bowling lane, we always have great frames. We are already looking forward to next year!
